Approximatrix, LLC adheres to a strict privacy policy surrounding its Simply Fortran product. Approximatrix does not share any information relating to our users with any other parties.
Simply Fortran Client Privacy
The Simply Fortran Integrated Development Environment, when attempting to operate using a network license, will transfer information concerning Windows usernames and IP address to the Simply Fortran License Server for the purposes of identifying users of license tokens for the benefit of the administrators of a particular license. This information is not logged by Approximatrix, LLC, nor is it shared with any other parties.
The Simply Fortran Integrated Development Environment, when attempting to operate using an Individual Registration, will transmit the registration key to the license server for validation if possible. No other information will be transmitted, and the transmission is not logged. Simply Fortran will continue to operate normally if it is unable to reach the license server using an Individual Registration (in cases where, for example, an Internet connection is unavailable). When using an Individual Registration, Simply Fortran will not transmit any personally identifiable information.
On systems running GNU/Linux, Simply Fortran will transfer a identifier for your particular computer, normally a MAC address, to the server for the purpose of providing a 30-day trial installation date. In cases where a valid MAC address cannot be located, your user and host names are transmitted as an alternative. No additional information will be transmitted.
Simply Fortran will not transfer any further information to the license server beyond what is explicitly stated above.
Simply Fortran Server Privacy
The Simply Fortran License Server will store information concerning purchases of licenses on its server except for payment details, which are not stored on our server. For each license, Approximatrix will store and maintain a list of administrators and their account passwords and a transient list of current Simply Fortran users accessing a particular license. Please read these Terms of Service completely. This Agreement documents the legally binding terms and conditions attached to access to and use of the Simply Fortran License Server.
By using or accessing the Site in any way or remitting payment to Approximatrix, LLC, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Server Availability
Approximatrix, LLC shall make every effort to maintain server availability and uptime. However, no guarantee of server availability or accessibility is made by Approximatrix. Periods during which the Simply Fortran License Server is unavailable, via either a web browser or the Simply Fortran Integrated Development Environment, are not subject to reimbursement by Approximatrix.
Intellectual Property
The Site and all of its original content are the sole property of Approximatrix, LLC and are, as such, fully protected by the appropriate international copyright and other intellectual property rights laws. The specifics of the licensing protocol used by Simply Fortran and this Site are also protected. The user agrees not to attempt to reverse engineer said protocol for the purposes of unauthorized use of Simply Fortran.
Termination
Approximatrix, LLC reserves the right to terminate your access to the Site, without any advance notice. This termination may be accompanied by a refund, adjusted by the lapsed subscription period, at the request of the customer.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed in accordance with the laws of the state of Ohio, United States.
Changes to This Agreement
Approximatrix, LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We do so by posting and drawing attention to the updated terms on the Site.
Therefore, we ask that you check and review this Agreement for such changes on an occasional basis. Should you not agree to any provision of this Agreement or any changes we make to this Agreement, please contact Approximatrix support.
